WINTER FANTASY CRAFT SHOW
This event began 23 years ago, initiated by Karren Harter. Initially, it involved the church family and friends collaborating to pay off the building's mortgage, with small shops set up in each room of the church alongside a few professional vendors. Over time, the craft show has become an annual occurrence in Horseheads. As circumstances changed and participation declined, the show shifted to feature only professional vendors, with the exception of one table from the church selling homemade Christmas items. Proceeds now support the building fund, assisting with operational expenses such as bills and yard maintenance. The Holy Grounds Kitchen continues to provide lunches for workers, vendors, and visitors. Attendance is encouraged even for those not seeking to purchase items. Leadership of the craft show has transitioned several times, from Kim Neubauer and Liz Newbury to the Trustees, with Barb Burdette and Judi Driscoll contributing to event organization and vendor coordination.
