Easter Egg Hunt Event: 1pm, Inside and Outside

Spring Flower Sale: Judy and Carol will be in the Narthex to accept orders and answer questions on April 12 and April 19. All orders must be received by Sunday, April 26. Orders may be turned in at the office, given to Judy or Carol. Please make checks payable to First UMC and write “Spring Flower Sale” in the memo line. Proceeds from the 2026 sale will support the Playground Fund for repairs and upkeep. Thank you for your continued support of this fundraiser! (Find order forms on the ledge by the church office window.)

Office help needed: Sandy has asked for vacation time this year and is looking for someone

to come in for a few hours each day to answer the phone, get the mail while she is away.

Please stop and see Sandy M-F until 1pm or give her a call if you would be willing to

WEEK OF HOPE MISSION TRIP: The group going to work camp is looking for

someone that has a large SUV or vehicle that can seat 6 people comfortably and all

the luggage needed for them, remembering 4 of them are teenagers. If you have a

vehicle you would be willing to lend us the week of June 28 - July 3, please contact

Ande Tubbs.

Schedule:

April 2nd: Maundy Thursday, simple meal, communion in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30pm.

April 3rd: A.C.T.S. Good Friday Service

When: Friday April 3 at 7:00 a.m.

Where: Clarion Inn, 760 E. Water St. Elmira, NY

What: Area Christians Together in Service (ACTS) with singing, prayer, and an inspirational message, "It's Friday, but Sunday's Coming!"

How: RSVP with Pastor Jeff in person, by phone (607-739-1943) or

email: pastorjeffmcd@yahoo.com. 

Why: To demonstrate we are all one in Christ our Lord, across the

Southern Tier and Thank God for Christ Jesus!

April 3 rd at NOON. Good Friday Service in the Chapel.

At 7pm, Good Friday (Tenebrae Service) in the Sanctuary

April 5th: Sunrise Service at 6:30am, Church Service at 9:30am.

(Coffee hour after each service and donated by the Worship Committee)
