Adult Sunday School is starting a series on the Parables of Jesus.

We will meet in the large conference room after church. All are welcome!

Karren’s Clothing Cupboard: The sign-up sheet for October is in the entryway. If you have clothing to donate, please hold it

until November or bring it to the rummage sale. Many of us will be working at the rummage sale and will be looking for items that can be used for Karren’s Clothing Cupboard.

Today is World Communion Sunday: The Mission Committee will be donating $150 for the congregation out of the

Mission Budget. Pastor Jeff and the Mission Committee decided that this is part of the Recommended Annual Giving for

2026.

Men’s Bible Study: All are welcome to join us each Thursday at 10 A.M. We will not meet on Oct. 1st due to the Rummage Sale. Join us Oct. 8th for I Corinthians, Chapter 8.

1. 1. Senior Adult Ministry on October 7, 2026 @ 6 pm---James Lynch, funeral director, speaking on pre-planning involving gravesite choosing, how to obtain Veteran plaques and best option to pay.

2. October 11th at 6pm, Jeff Steinburg will be here in Concert.

3. Spiritual Care Today: Friday, October 16th from 8am-11am. Sign up on Pastor’s door for free breakfast event.

4. SOUP TO GO will be back on Oct. 25th in the kitchen after the service.

5. Senior Adult Ministry on November 4, 2026 @ 1 pm—Beth Stranges from Office of the Aging—speaking on the Yellow Dot/SCC Med QR and winter safety.

All Saints Sunday – November 1: We will remember loved ones who have passed away from October 25, 2025, through

the present. If you would like a candle lit on the altar in memory of someone, please submit the name to the church office

by October 25. The church office already has the names of church members who have passed away this year. If you

believe someone might be left off the list, please contact the church office. Candles may be taken home after the service.

Special Mission Moment – All Saints Sunday

In addition to remembering those who have passed away during the past year, we will have a special Mission Moment on

Sunday, November 1, to honor loved ones who remain in our hearts. Ushers will provide cards for you to write the

names of those you wish to remember, whether they passed recently or many years ago. Put as many names as you want

on the card. The cards will be displayed outside the church, followed by a special prayer from Pastor Jeff. Afterward, you may take your card home as a keepsake. Questions about this, please contact the church office or see Pastor Jeff.

Our video team is looking for people to volunteer to help on Sunday mornings with Sound and Video Output. No experience necessary. Please see Larry Crandell if interested in volunteering.  

USHER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We are looking for additional ushers and substitute ushers to help serve our church family.

Several of our regular Ushers are no longer able to serve, and we would greatly appreciate your willingness to help fill this important ministry role.

Adult Day Retreat at Aldersgate Camp Sept 19, at 6 Lakeside Ave, Silver Lake, NY 14549. A chance to step away from the busyness of everyday life and find rest, renewal, and peace in God’s presence. Come spend a day with God and some friends as we look at the noise in our lives that can get in the way of seeing, hearing and just being with God.

Led by Bonnie Kreutter, this retreat will provide meaningful time for reflection, prayer, and fellowship. Ongoing Weekly Events: (Any changes, please let Sandy know)

· Praying in the Wesley room at 10am every Monday. (This will continue during the summer).

· Women’s Bible Study in the Wesley Room at 11am every Wednesday. (This will continue during the summer).

· Men’s Bible Study in the Small Conf. Room at 10am every Thursday (Will not meet in July).

· Sunday School is every Sunday at 10:45am. (Will not meet during the summer months. Resumes on 9/13th).

· Choir practice every Saturday at 3:00 PM! We welcome you to come join us!

· Karren’s Clothing Cupboard (KCC) will be open during the summer months. Tuesdays from 10am-noon and

Thursdays from 1-3pm. If you wish to help, please see Ande Tubbs. KCC is part of Outreach Committee Projects.
