Rummage Sale Setup & Sale September 24th –October 2nd

Thursday: Setup – 6:30 PM (Please let Ande Tubbs know if you can help set up tables)

Friday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM- Drop off time: 10am -4pm.

Saturday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM - Drop off time: 9am -4pm

Sunday is a day of rest. No items accepted on Sun.

Monday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM - Drop off time: 9am -4pm

Tuesday: 8:00 AM until finished - No items will be accepted Tues. or Wed.

Wednesday: Sale begins 5:00 PM to 8 PM., Thursday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, Friday: 9:00 AM–Noon

Please do not drop off any item in the Pavillion after the sale is over or during the sale without permission from the

United Women in Faith or the Trustee’s.

Fall Rummage Sale – Donation Guidelines: We are looking forward to our Fall Rummage Sale! If you would like to donate items, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

1. Please wait to bring donations until the designated times listed above.

2. Please do not leave items outside the building before the collection times. DO NOT put donations in the church

garage or leave them outside the church doors.

Thank you for helping us keep our church grounds and building safe and orderly.

3. Please donate clean, usable items. We welcome clothing, children’s items, kitchen items, household goods, and

more. Please make sure everything is clean and in good, usable condition.

Holy Grounds Kitchen: Our Holy Grounds Kitchen staff generously provides food for the many volunteers who help

with setup each day. A sign-up sheet will be available soon in the entranceway for those who would like to contribute. All

donations are greatly appreciated

Karren’s Clothing Cupboard will be closed the week of the Rummage Sale.

A Look Ahead:

1. Senior Adult Ministry on October 7, 2026 @ 6 pm---James Lynch, funeral director, speaking on pre-planning involving gravesite choosing, how to obtain Veteran plaques and best option to pay.

2. October 11th at 6pm, Jeff Steinburg will be here in Concert.

3. Senior Adult Ministry on November 4, 2026 @ 1 pm—Beth Stranges from Office of the Aging—speaking on the Yellow Dot/SCC Med QR and winter safety.

               Light refreshments will be served at each Senior Adult Ministry Event. Hope to see you there. Please share with your friends who might need this information. Please sign up on sheets in Vestibule Bulletin board.  Any questions please contact Carol Crandell.

Our video team is looking for people to volunteer to help on Sunday mornings with Sound and Video Output. No experience necessary. Please see Larry Crandell if interested in volunteering.  

USHER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We are looking for additional ushers and substitute ushers to help serve our church family.

If you are interested in volunteering, please see Chad Miller, contact the church office, or speak with Pastor Jeff.

Several of our regular Ushers are no longer able to serve, and we would greatly appreciate your willingness to help fill this important ministry role.

UPPER NEW YORK CAMP & RETREAT MINISTRIES

Camp & Retreat Ministries has four centers throughout New York state – from the Adirondacks west to the edges of two Great Lakes, north to the St. Lawrence Seaway and south to the state border with Pennsylvania. Aldersgate, Asbury, Sky Lake, Skye Farm and Clergy Respite Programs at Camp. Each of our centers serves a diverse population, including rural, urban and suburban, while offering opportunities to connect with God's creation, with a loving Christian community, and with friends, new and old. Camp & Retreat Ministry (CRM) provides transformative camp and retreat experiences that nurture faith, build community, and support spiritual growth for people of all ages. Through welcoming spaces and meaningful programs, CRM helps individuals and groups deepen their connection to God and one another.

Adult Day Retreat at Aldersgate Camp Sept 19, at 6 Lakeside Ave, Silver Lake, NY 14549. A chance to step away from the busyness of everyday life and find rest, renewal, and peace in God’s presence. Come spend a day with God and some friends as we look at the noise in our lives that can get in the way of seeing, hearing and just being with God.

Led by Bonnie Kreutter, this retreat will provide meaningful time for reflection, prayer, and fellowship. The day will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude around 3:00 PM, with a lunch included. $30.00 per person includes lunch. Go to website to register or to www.unyumc.org and click on "Camp and Retreat."

Ongoing Weekly Events: (Any changes, please let Sandy know)

· Praying in the Wesley room at 10am every Monday. (This will continue during the summer).

· Women’s Bible Study in the Wesley Room at 11am every Wednesday. (This will continue during the summer).

· Men’s Bible Study in the Small Conf. Room at 10am every Thursday (Will not meet in July).

· Sunday School is every Sunday at 10:45am. (Will not meet during the summer months. Resumes on 9/13th).

· Choir practice every Saturday at 3:00 PM! We welcome you to come join us!

· Karren’s Clothing Cupboard (KCC) will be open during the summer months. Tuesdays from 10am-noon and

Thursdays from 1-3pm. If you wish to help, please see Ande Tubbs. KCC is part of Outreach Committee Projects.
